Nut is the personification of the Universerse. She can also apear as a cow. One of the Original Goddesses that came from Atum in the Beggining of time. Daugher of Shu and Tefnut. Nut then Gave birth to all the Gods and Goddesses.
In other areas Nut was depicted as swollowing the Sun God Ra each night and giving birth to him a new each morning.
Nut was also depicted as a funerary Goddess. Her picture was often Painted inside the lids of coffins, so to protect the deceased in the after life.
